So You Failed The Bar Exam...

You took the most popular bar exam prep course available.  (It was expensive but worth it.)  You thought you could get through this last ordeal and settle into a normal life. It was close, but no prize. You missed passing the bar exam by a few points.  NOW WHAT???

SOME THOUGHTS…….

Maybe you should give up the idea and get a job at the bank.  Maybe even go into real estate.  That way you could start paying back your student loans and start enjoying your family and friends again.  The exam was such a close call.  A few points and you would be on your way. When you started out you knew law school would be tough…and it was.  But you did not give up.  You worked and graduated.  You now have your law degree but you can’t practice law.

You can’t give up now.  You are too close to accomplishing what you set out to do some years ago.  You will take the exam once again.   

WHAT CHOICES ARE OPEN??… WHAT SHOULD I DO??

You can go back to the bar exam prep course you just finished and hope you will learn enough to pass this time.  You may even get the same course for half price or some other inducement or price-reduction to encourage you to repeat what failed to work in the first instance.  (Statistics say that repeat bar exam failures reflect an “inability to prepare”.)  Will doing the same thing you did the last time work this time??  What good, common sense reason do you have to believe that will happen??  (You are probably denying reality.  Good luck.)
