Frequently
Asked Questions
Q. How
much study, review and practice writing time should be devoted
to exam preparation?
A. For many years BarXMPrep
has suggested that as an absolute minimum study schedule,
two hours per day, every day, divided into four half-hour
segments, eight weeks before the exam, should be dedicated
to exam preparation. For most recent law school graduates
this preparation time schedule has proven sufficient.
However, for examinees who have been out
of law school for several years and have practiced in specific
areas of the law, additional time and review effort may
be necessary to adequately review subjects presented by
the upcoming exam. This adjustment is best gauged by the
student’s performance on the sample exam questions
and responsive answers provided by the BarXMPrep course
materials.
These materials are calculated to point
up weaknesses in the subjects that may be anticipated on
the exam and allow sufficient time to correct deficiencies
by specific subject matter review study.
