A
Brief Word About You & The Bar Exam
You
have spent several years preparing to enter the legal profession.
You have spent countless hours reading and briefing cases,
taking class notes, listening to lectures, studying for and
writing exam answers to specific legal topics. The simple
truth is: You really have been academically well prepared
for the forthcoming event (and, incidentally, your life’s
work) by your instructors and professors who were in the business
of doing just that. Since you have been well prepared with
the “nuts and bolts” of the practice of law by
your instructors, the only missing element at this point in
your professional career is a demonstration of your abilities.
That’s called: The Bar Exam.
Question: How will
you provide this element?
Answer: By presenting
solutions to theoretical legal problems, presented by the
examiners, reflecting:
1) a knowledge of the law
2) an understanding of the legal significance of the facts
presented
3) an application of the law to the facts
Whether reflected in the State specific
essays, the MBE essays or multiple choice or other variations
of types of bar exams, the bases are the same. These elements
are your demonstration of competence to practice.
It is the avowed purpose of barXMprep
to offer a realistic, practical method of bar exam preparation
that will support your efforts to fairly demonstrate your
abilities to the bar examiners. This method has successfully
worked for more than forty years. I’m confident it will
work for you.
